PALMERTONA REA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Wine Appreciation Wednesday

Palmerton Area Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Wine Appreciation Wednesday

6:30-8:00 PM

Held on the third Wednesday of each month beginning in January 2020, this 6-part series will grow your wine knowledge and educate your palate. Our wine specialist will guide you through an in depth tour of four wines each class. Topics will include terroir, the wine making process, growing regions, proper tasting techniques, varietal identification and more. Each 6-part series will have a centralized theme. 

Courses can be taken individually or as a full series. Those who complete the entire series will receive a certificate of completion. 

2020

Series 1: New World Wines (Jan. - June)

1/15 Chile

2/19 USA

3/18 Australia

4/15 Argentina

5/20 New Zealand

6/17 South Africa 

Series 2: Old World Wines (July - Dec.)

7/15 Germany

8/19 Spain

9/16 Greece

10/21 France

11/18 Italy

12/16 Bubbles (Cava Spain, Prosecco Italy, NV & Vintage Champagne from France) 

$50/person for individual classes.

$250/person for the entire 6-part series.
