Palmerton Library issued the following announcement on Nov. 24.
Starting Monday, November 30th the library will be open by appointment only or curbside pick up.
Hours: Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Appointments: Computer Use (45 minutes max), Browsing (30 minutes max), fax, scan, and photocopy service (call ahead). Appointments must be made by phone 610-826-3424.
Curbside Pick Up: You can request materials by calling the library, emailing plapalm@ptd.net (include your first and last name and phone number) or logging into your library account at palmertonarealibrary.com and putting materials on hold.
A librarian will call you when your materials are ready and schedule pick up time.
Return materials can be put in the outside book drop bin at any time.
