BOROUGH OF MINERSVILLE: Council Will Hold Remaining 2020 Monthly Council Meetings On November 10 and December 8th For General Purposes Virtually

Borough of Minersville issued the following announcement on Nov. 10.

Due to in increase in Schuylkill County COVID-19 cases, the Council of the Borough of Minersville will hold their remaining 2020 monthly Council meetings on November 10 and December 8th for general purposes virtually, the meeting will be closed to the public. Residents may listen to the meeting live via dial in conference call. 

The meeting agenda will be posted online, council chamber door, and Borough Office door.

To listen live to the meeting, please check our website after 4 p.m. on Tuesday of the meeting date for the phone number and password. Within 48 hours, minutes of the meeting will be posted on the Borough Homepage at minersvilleonline.com.

Approved Officers’ Reports

Approved bills to be paid

Approved terminating current cleaning personnel for boro office and council chambers

Approved hiring Jenn Hossler as a 1099 employee at the same rate for the boro office and council chambers… The current cleaning personnel will continue at the Police Station

Approved Dustin’s Adventure Land request for signage at the entrance to the boro at both the highway and by the helipad as well as on Front street and Seltzer Highway

Bob and Chief will meet with QSP concerning their request for No Parking at the Lofts

completed second reading of ordinance 322

completed second reading or ordinance 333

on recommendation of Chief and Kyle, approved 403 New Castle driveway application

Will not oppose repository sale of 124 Spruce St

completed 1st reading of 2021 budget

Ian will schedule meeting with LL, Dustins and Lions concerning leases

hole on N. Delaware Ave will be repaired ASAP
