Bowmanstown borough issued the following announcement on Sept. 22.
Borough crew is replacing a Fire Hydrant in front of 304 Ore Street. Water was shut off to residents on the 300 & 400 block of Ore Street. All homeowners on the 300 & 400 block of Ore Street will be without water for a short period of time. A boil water advisory will go into effect. Resident that are without water are being asked to boil their water as a precautionary measure until further notice.
