Heffley to host addiction prevention expo in Jim Thorpe

State Rep. Doyle Heffley | Pennsylvania 122nd Legislative District

Rep. Doyle Heffley will host a Family Resources and Addiction Prevention Expo on October 16. The event is scheduled to take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Carbon Career and Technical Institute, located at 150 W. 13th St., Jim Thorpe.

The expo aims to provide valuable resources and information for families dealing with addiction issues. It will feature an impaired and distracted driving simulator, a mock bedroom, a prescription drug drop-off box, a DUI memorial, and naloxone training.

Heffley will be joined by local officials as well as state and local agencies in this initiative.
