BOROUGH OF MINERSVILLE: Curbside Recycling Services On June 3

Borough of Minersville issued the following announcement on May 28.

Curbside recycling services will begin on June 3, 2020.  The schedule will remain the same as previously collected.  The North Side will be the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month; South side will be collected the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month.

Recycling Collection Program

As part of the borough’s continuing recycling program, the following

curbside items will be collected: #1 – #7 plastics, aluminum and tin cans, green, brown, and clear glass containers,

newspapers and magazines (bundled seperately).

All recycled materials must be placed curbside for pickup.

Please bundle newspapers or magazines in string or place in a brown paper bag or cardboard box separate from plastic, glass and aluminum for pickup.

Cardboard should be flattened and bundled.

Any loose paper and cardboard not bundled will not be picked up curbside.

Do not place these recyclables in plastic bags.

A drop-off container for recyclables is located at the compost site at the end of north delaware avenue.

All Recycling Mixed With Garbage Will Not Be Collected Curbside.

No Collection For Residents On: July 29, September 30, December 30
