State Rep. Doyle Heffley | Pennsylvania 122nd Legislative District
Representative Doyle Heffley, serving the Carbon area, is set to host a Family Resources and Addiction Prevention Expo on Wednesday, October 16, at the Carbon Career and Technical Institute in Jim Thorpe. The event will run from 5 to 8 p.m.
The expo aims to provide resources and tools for families dealing with addiction and prevention. Attendees will have access to a variety of features that include an impaired and distracted driving simulator, a mock bedroom illustrating potential signs of drug use, a prescription drug drop-off box, a DUI memorial, and naloxone training.
