Rep. Joanne Stehr has announced the allocation of $1.5 million in grant funding for projects in the 107th District through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP). This funding aims to support significant developments in Northumberland and Schuylkill counties.
“I am excited to hear this grant funding will benefit our communities in the 107th District,” said Stehr. She emphasized that these funds would aid in constructing a new mill next to Clark’s Feed Mill and a horse breeding facility at Blackstone Farms. “In my capacity as a state legislator, I am always working to secure the necessary funding for our area, and I appreciate everyone’s support in helping to secure these grants.”
The approved projects include:
- Ralpho Township, Northumberland County, will receive $500,000 for a new feed mill near Clark’s Feed Mill to boost production capacity.
- Pine Grove Borough, Schuylkill County, is set to receive $1 million for developing a "Kentucky-style" stallion and breeding facility on 69 acres across from Blackstone Farms.
The RACP is managed by the Office of the Budget and supports various regional improvement projects.
