Rep. JoAnne Stehr, representing Northumberland and Schuylkill counties, has announced the opening of her district offices in Hegins and Shamokin. The Hegins office is situated at 57 Park Lane, while the Shamokin office can be found at 300 E. Independence St.

"Our district offices are officially open for constituent services," stated Stehr. "My staff and I are excited and look forward to serving the residents in our district. We are available to assist you with any state-related matters or concerns."

The offices operate from Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. While appointments are encouraged by calling ahead, walk-ins are also accepted. Due to pending telephone activation at the Hegins office, constituents should contact the Shamokin office at 570-648-8017.

Stehr's offices provide various legislative services such as vehicle registration assistance, handling inquiries related to state agencies, processing Property Tax/Rent Rebate applications, birth certificate requests, offering state legislative information, addressing complaints about road conditions, organizing tours of the state Capitol, and providing fishing and hunting information.
