Of the 4,648 people living in Jim Thorpe in 2020, 51.2 percent (2,382) were women and 48.8 percent (2,266) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Coal Region News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 34. In the 65 and over age range, there were 495 females and 407 males.
