On Tuesday, March 11, former Palmerton Area High School standout Carly Gaffney’s current college team, the Mercy Mavericks, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Chester Golden Rams.
The game took place at USSSA Space Coast Complex. This was their first matchup against the Golden Rams this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 2 p.m. at Janet L. Ficke Field against Adelphi Panthers.
