Good evening. This is Paula Husar, principal of Palmerton Area Senior High School. Tomorrow, we begin our second semester. The students have received their schedules and are ready to go. If your child does not have their schedule, they can access it on PowerSchool or contact their guidance counselor.
If your child is scheduled for Spanish, we unfortunately have to remain virtual as we have not been able to find a teacher. The enrollment for these students must be done on the IU side. This has not been completed for all students as of yet. I will be meeting with the classes within the next two days to get them started once everyone is enrolled. Students should report to their assigned classroom for their Virtual Spanish classes.
I also want to give a reminder about tardies for the second semester. Students are permitted three tardies. After that, students will receive a detention for being tardy. Please remind your child that being on time is necessary not just for high school, but life in general. Our school start time remains unchanged … 7:30 AM. Students must be in their Block 1 classroom by 7:30 AM.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at phusar@palmerton.org or 610 826-3155 ext. 2214.
Thank you.
