Hope Covage is the daughter of Joseph and Traci Covage. Upon graduation, Hope will have taken 10 AP classes. She is a member of the National Honor Society, and she has received high honors throughout her high school career. Hope has also won the AP Scholar Award. She is currently enrolled in classes such as AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB, AP Research, AP Psychology, and AP English Literature and Composition. She is the treasurer of the Science Olympiad team, and she is also a member of Model UN, Mathletes, Buddies Club, Mini-THON, Environmental Club, Period Club, and Red Cross. Hope is also an active member in her community. She volunteers at St. Catherine of Siena Church as well as St. Patrick's Church. In addition, she volunteers with the North Pocono Public Library. Hope is currently employed at Panera Bread and babysits in her free time. After graduation, Hope plans to attend a four-year university, followed by medical school, and major in either neuroscience or biochemistry in hopes of becoming a Neurologist in the future.
Ryan Maughan is the son of Stephen Maughan and Christine Besko-Maughan. Ryan has excelled all throughout his high school career by challenging himself in courses like AP Statistics, AP United States History, AP Physics 1, Calculus and AP Physics 2. In addition, he has been on an accelerated track for every other discipline. Ryan has achieved High Honors in each quarter throughout high school, consistently placing in the top 5% of his class. Ryan has continued his stellar performance through the first quarter of senior year having received grades of 94 or higher in every subject, ranking fifth in the class. He has taken advantage of Dual Enrollment courses through Lackawanna College and his cumulative weighted GPA through Q1 is 101.25. Ryan has been a member of National Honor Society since tenth grade and recently received the College Board National Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award for his continued academic excellence and outstanding standardized test scores.Ryan has played soccer since he was 8 years old and was a member of the League and District title winning team last year. Ryan was also a member of the track and field team that also won League and District titles last year. Ryan has been a part of Mathletes since freshman year, is a member of Future Business Leaders of America and plans to play tennis in the Spring. Ryan has volunteered as a member of the Gouldsboro volunteer Fire Department since 2020 and orchestrated a blanket drive for Billy’s New Hope Farm. Ryan has worked as a cashier and cook at Nancy’s Thai Restaurant in Gouldsboro and has served as a referee for the North Pocono Youth Soccer League for over 3 years.Ryan has been accepted to the Honors College of East Stroudsburg University, Bloomsburg University and Kutztown University, receiving merit scholarships to all three. He has also applied to Penn State University, Bucknell University, and the University of Tennessee. Ryan hopes to study Advanced Mathematical Concepts, Business, and Economics.
Samantha Millard is the daughter of Ann Marie and Jason Millard. Sam will have completed a total of eight Advanced Placement classes upon graduation and is currently taking AP Literature & Composition, AP Psychology, AP Calculus, and AP Chemistry. With this challenging workload, she has maintained high honors throughout her high school career and is a member of the National Honor Society. Sam played junior varsity soccer and violin in the orchestra for all four years of high school. Sam is currently the concertmaster in the orchestra and has participated in school-hosted concerts as well as the Marywood String Ensemble, and PMEA district and regional concerts. She also takes guitar and piano lessons and performs in recitals hosted by Musical Dreams studio. She volunteers as an Altar Server at Saint Eulalia's Parish. Sam is employed at Auntie Anne’s Pretzels in the Viewmont Mall. After graduation, she plans on attending college to pursue a career in advertising or digital media. She has applied to Penn State University, Sacred Heart University, and has been accepted into Seton Hall University.
