Students interested in earning a degree in education will have an opportunity to learn about their educational and career options at an information session at Lehigh Carbon Community College. Prospective students and their families are invited to the in-person session scheduled for 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 1, in room 201B of the Community Services Center.
The session will highlight the college’s education programs and will be led by faculty and a member of the Admissions team. It will include an in-depth look into the following programs:
Early Childhood Education A.A.S.
Early Childhood Education - Early Intervention A.A.S.
Early Childhood Education - Early Intervention Certificate
Education A.A.
Paraprofessional/Special Education A.A.S.
Students will learn about the requirements of the programs, the kinds of classes they will take and the different career options that would be open to them. This session will include a walking tour of the Cougar Design Den creative makerspace.
