PSAT GUIDELINES:
WHEN: Wednesday, October 12, 2022
WHERE: All testing will be held at Scranton High School or West Scranton High School
TIME: Start time is 8 AM. Students should arrive at Scranton High School no later than 7:45 AM
TEST CONTENTS:
Basic demographic gridding-45 minutes
Reading Test-60 minutes
Writing and Language Test-35 minutes
Math Test (no calculator)-25 minutes
Math Test (calculator)-45 minutes
Breaks-20 minutes
TOTAL TIME-3 hours 50 minutes (plan for 4+ hours)
COST: of PSAT Exam-$18
Test Scores are based on Evidence-Based Reading & Writing along with Math. 760 points for each section for a highest possible score of 1520.
Materials needed-two #2 pencils with erasers & approved calculator. Snacks & drinks for test breaks are optional.
