Census Bureau: More women than men in Hometown in 2020

Of the 1,540 people living in Hometown in 2020, 54.8 percent (844) were women and 45.2 percent (696) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Coal Region News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 57. In the 65 and over age range, there were 201 females and 68 males.
