Graduates earn 115 degrees, certificates from Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Schuylkill

About 32.2 percent of the 115 degrees and certificates handed out by Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Schuylkill in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Haven conferred 18 associate's degrees and 16 bachelor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in criminal justice/safety studies. Data shows the school gave out 21 bachelor's degrees in criminal justice/safety studies, followed by 18 associate's degrees in medical radiologic technology/science - radiation therapist and 16 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.

The university enrolled 609 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
