Cost of college went down for all students at Schuylkill Technology Center

Tuition and fees fell 5.3 percent for 2018-19 at Schuylkill Technology Center, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $16,193 to attend the public school this year – $907 less than the $17,100 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 93 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 37 students received grants or scholarships totaling $229,832 and 27 students took out student loans totaling more than $201,450.

Including all undergraduates (70), 70 students used grants or scholarships totaling $731,245, and 59 students took out $201,450 in federal student loans.
