Lee Park Elementary School issued the following announcement on April 6
HASD seniors were informed during an online session that amidst the current pandemic, HASD refused to let the class 2020 graduate without a ceremony.
HASD has developed a plan of social distancing while inside a safe environment in their vehicle, yet provide our students with the apex of their academic career..... graduation. Students will be with their families inside their vehicles & lined up, alphabetically. Students will receive their diploma & the image, cast on the large screen. On June 4th @ 5 PM, Garden Drive-in Theatre is making accommodations to decorate & play a movie for the students & their families following the ceremony. 2020 is going to be a memorable year!
