On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Panther Valley High School standout Stephen Hood’s current college team, the Kutztown Golden Bears, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Goldey-Beacom Lightning.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lightning this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 5:45 p.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex against Frostburg State Bobcats.
