On Tuesday, March 25, former Palmerton Area High School standout Carly Gaffney’s current college team, the Mercy Mavericks, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans.

The game took place at Spartan Field. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 4:15 p.m. at Spartan Field against St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans.
