On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Blue Mountain High School standout Marla Freiwald’s current college team, the Saint Joseph’s Hawks, lost 9-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Liberty Lady Flames.

The game took place at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Lady Flames this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2:05 p.m. at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium against Radford Highlanders.
