On Friday, Feb. 28, former Jim Thorpe Area High School standout Garrett Lienhard’s current college team, the Allegheny Gators, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Pitt Greensburg Bobcats.

The game took place at Chain of Lakes Field. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m. at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex against Concordia Chicago Cougars.
