Schuylkill County state legislators are set to hold a public roundtable to discuss the future of Penn State Schuylkill. The event, which follows recent advocacy efforts that prevented the campus from closing earlier this year, will take place at the John E. Morgan Auditorium at Penn State Schuylkill in Schuylkill Haven.

The roundtable is scheduled for Monday, November 3, from 10 a.m. to noon. It will be hosted by Senator Dave Argall (R-29) and Representatives Tim Twardzik (R-123), Jamie Barton (R-124), JoAnne Stehr (R-107), and Dane Watro (R-116). Organizers have allocated time during the session for public comment.

According to the announcement, “The event is a continuation of the advocacy efforts that saved the campus from closure earlier this year.”
