Senior citizens in Carbon County will have the opportunity to learn about avoiding scams at an upcoming seminar. The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 15, at 5:30 p.m. and will take place at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, located at 175 S. Third St., Lehighton.
The seminar will be hosted by Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) and Sen. Dave Argall (R-29), along with David P. Shallcross from the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.
