On Saturday, March 1, former Palmerton Area High School standout Carly Gaffney’s current college team, the Mercy Mavericks, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Bloomfield Bears.

The game took place at Clark’s Pond South. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Clark’s Pond South against Bloomfield Bears.
