On Friday, May 2, former Palmerton Area High School standout Carly Gaffney’s current college team, the Mercy Mavericks, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans.
The game took place at Spartan Field. This was their fifth matchup against the Spartans this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 3:05 p.m. at Spartan Field against D’Youville Saints.
